Honolulu (KHON2) — Police on the Big Island of Hawaii responded to a motorcycle crash that killed a 63-year-old Waikoloa man on Sunday, October 10.
According to police, the incident occurred around 10:30 am at the intersection of Daniel K. Inouye Wayway and Highway 190.

The man was riding west when we turned the road and hit a stop sign. Police said he had hit a guardrail and was thrown out of his motorcycle. The 63-year-old was taken to the hospital where he was sentenced to death.
Big Island police also reported that the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
