Many of us are looking for ways to stay active while keeping a safe distance from others.that’s why Sarah Finney We started a “walking club” to highlight some hidden and some lesser hidden trails and parks throughout Tampa Bay.

Carrollwood Village Park is a must-see spot about 20 minutes north of Tampa. It has something for everyone!

The park is free.

What do i need to do?

Visitors will find many ways to enjoy in the park. Some facilities include a mile paved path, a large playground, a splash pad, a nature center, an amphitheater, a skate park, a dog park, and an exercise challenge course.

Don’t miss the promenade across the lake! A great place to find turtles.

Most of the park is not shaded, so be sure to bring sunscreen and a hat.

Also note that you can see and hear the plane flying overhead.
