Warm across Colorado for the first full day of fall – Denver, Colorado

Denver, Colorado 2021-09-23 07:33:54 –

Today will be the first full day of autumn, but it will feel like summer.

Almost sunny skies this morning and highs this afternoon in the mid to mid-1980s. Highs are highest across the central mountain in the 70’s and lows on the western slopes in the 80’s.

Clouds will increase this afternoon and it is unlikely that there will be light rain on the mountains. This is due to the weakness of the cold front that will continue until tomorrow.

Friday will be a little cooler with the passage of this weak cold front — expect highs in the mid-to-first half of the 70’s.

The first weekend of autumn will be wonderful with sunny skies and warm temperatures. Poplar trees turn completely golden in the central and northern mountains and approach their peaks in the southern mountainous regions.

Sunday weather should be perfect for Broncos home openers as well. The temperature during the match is in the 80’s and is almost sunny and warm.
