Moisture in this monsoon slowly increases throughout the state by the weekend. Some scattered thunderstorms will return over Denver and the eastern plains by Friday. Highs fall slightly from the mid-1980s to the first half of the 1980s.
Another cold front arrives on Friday night, bringing a much larger cooldown for this weekend. It culminates in the 70’s and can have thunderstorms on Saturdays and Sundays.
