The heat and humidity last until the weekend of Father’s Day. Although it appears to be mostly dry today and Sunday, some spot showers can occur as tropical cyclone claudettes pass through Alabama and Georgia, especially in the south.

Today’s highs are in the late 80’s and late 90’s. Sunday temperatures will be in the late 90’s.

On Mondays, cold fronts sway, causing widespread rain and storms. Some of those storms can be on the stronger side. Marginal risk (1/5) is valid for everyone on Monday. Showers and storms should occur early on Tuesday.

Behind this system, you’ll get another short shot of the slightly cooler, dry air on Tuesday and Wednesday, as you enjoyed earlier this week.
