Temperatures have risen, and today Interstate 40 is heading north.
I wake up in my 40s east of I-65 and in my remaining 50s. It’s cool enough to want to get a jacket this morning. It’s already raining on the radar this morning.
There will be some showers north of the I-40 Corridor today, but it will not be washed away. In the southern and eastern regions, it may not rain at all. The maximum temperature will be close to 70 and the south wind will blow.
Warm air enters on weekdays. Several storms will occur in the northwestern and northern counties tomorrow and Tuesday. Several storms in northwestern central Tennessee and western Kentucky can cause gusts and small hail on Mondays. At the Storm Forecast Center, there is a slight risk of bad weather on Monday.
Temperatures will return to the 80’s by the middle of the week. The next rain possibility is Friday, and the front will pass. This will bring cool air next weekend.
