Martha on the FlyThe weekend-only breakfast concept run by The Battery Park’s Good Company (1200 W. 76th St.) has been doing well since March last year. According to chef Ryan Beck, the goal has always been to work on a more permanent home for business. He says the place has just been secured in Tremont.
“The Good Company was great for us, but at some point they had to get out of their hair to run a business,” Beck explains. “But again, we were waiting for the right place that was most meaningful to us. It was the area where we felt we could serve the area in the best possible way, based on our concept. ”
The location (2173 Professor Avenue) is a subspace of former Comforty and Freddie, right next to Baoni. The goal is to open sometime in January this year. In that case, the restaurant will serve the same popular breakfast sandwiches, pies and sides for take-out and delivery. However, the team, including LT Magnotto, Justin Carolyne, and Joey Marino, also wants to incorporate a small counter for a small number of restaurants.
“In addition to the current menu, we’ll provide some plates that give you a chance to try out Diner’s favorites a bit, but spin Martha,” Beck adds.
In the spring, more seats will pop up on the front patio.
First, Martha on the Fly keeps the weekend-only schedule, but plans to add Thursday and Friday mornings to the mix as well. In the future, if the community wants it, the service can grow up to 5-6 days a week.
Martha will be the last Good Company on December 4th and 5th this weekend.you can Please order from here..
