Oh – cooler and drier air has arrived! After a record hot stretch, peace of mind is here and here to stay for a few days.
High pressures build overhead, providing quiet, cool days of weather throughout the six state regions.
The mayhem approaching northern New England on Friday will touch some watering in far-northern countries before expanding into more scattered showers in the evening.
We do not anticipate thunderstorms or stormy weather, but some heavy rains cannot be ruled out. If you have plans for Friday in central and southern New England, you don’t have to worry about rain between day and night.
As the energy sinks south on Friday night, so does the shower. In fact, some of the moisture remains on Saturday mornings in southern New England. Wake up early to a damp start and then, in most cases, don’t be surprised that the dry tendency continues by the morning. The stubborn clouds will probably continue until noon, before the sun sets.
Saturday’s highs exceed about 70. Sundays are a bit humid, the air is warm, and thunderstorms can be scattered in the afternoons. Keep an eye on the sky, especially in western New England, as some of the storms can be on the stronger side.
Next week, I’m a little worried before the more formidable warmth and humidity for the weekend.
