With the coronavirus pandemic and security enhancements following the Capitol riots, this year’s 59th Presidential Inauguration will look a little different.
Washington — President-elect Joe Biden will officially become President Joe Biden on Wednesday, January 20, at noon EST.
There are several inauguration events before and after Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris take office.
This year’s historic events look a little different due to the coronavirus pandemic and the additional security measures set around the US Capitol after the deadly riot two weeks ago.
Most of the events are streamed live, and authorities are discouraging Americans from traveling to the country’s capital. All major broadcasts and cable networks will also broadcast the inauguration live.
