New England will be in a turmoil over the next two days, thanks to the classic autumn Nor’easter.

The National Weather Service in Boston predicts the worst weather from Tuesday night to Wednesday, with strong winds starting Tuesday afternoon.

NS Massachusetts Office for Emergency Management Encourages residents to take this time before the actual storm occurs to prepare for power outages and floods. The National Meteorological Service predicts the most damaging winds in Rhode Island and eastern Massachusetts (including Cape Cod and the islands).

WBZ meteorologist Eric Fisher even pointed out that this period was hit by many extreme weather events, including last year’s storm.

Here’s what local meteorologists say about the upcoming weather:

AJ Burnett, WCVB: “If tomorrow is a garbage day, put the bricks in the barrel.”

Eric Fisher, WBZ: “Heading 1 for this next storm is WIND.”

Jaisol Martinez, 7News: “Small coastal floods on Wednesday afternoon.”

Mike Wankum, WCVB: “Heavy rain and strong winds are expected.”

Sarah Wroblewski, WBZ: “Safe or bring outside [Halloween] Decoration. “

Jeremy Reiner, 7News: “This is going to be weird.”
