Good old front range. It’s the first mountain range most travelers see when they land in Colorado, and it’s a view that the majority of the state’s population can see. The mountains with the most access to places like Denver and Boulder. Some of the busiest trails are part of the range. Rocky Mountain National Park, our most popular and famous national park, is also part of this mountain range.

San Gredecristos is the closest mountain range to Colorado Springs after passing Pikes Peak. They run all the way from Ponchapas to New Mexico. The mountains, also known as “Spanish Peaks,” include Blanca Peak and Crestone Peak.

San Juan is the southernmost mountain range in Colorado. They range from Ouray, Colorado to New Mexico. The terrain varies from desert-rich Mesa to alpine peaks. It boasts famous places like Telluride.

The Sawatch Mountain Range is located just west of Colorado Springs, starting near Buena Vista, Colorado and forming part of the Continental Divide. The Saguache Mountains are one of the highest mountains in the state. It contains the highest mountains in Colorado, the mountains. Elbert has 14 people, 15 people, and is also the host of Monarch Mountain and the ski area.
