Wheatridge, Colorado — Police in Wheatridge are seeking help from the general public on Saturday to find a woman with Alzheimer’s disease who has been missing for three days.

Gloria Gonzalez, 73, wandered Wednesday afternoon from Anderson Park on West 44th Street and Field Street, police said.

According to police, Gonzales lives in the area and enjoys walking from the park to her home. Her husband dropped her off at Anderson Park that afternoon, but she didn’t go home.

She was reported missing on Friday afternoon.

According to police, a similar incident occurred last year, but she was successfully discovered shortly afterwards.

The 73-year-old woman is described as a Hispanic woman with long brown hair, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 135 pounds. When she was dropped off at Anderson Park on Wednesday, she wore a black blouse, fuzzy blue and pink pajamas pants, and white tennis shoes. She also had a black backpack and red and black blankets.
