If you are a resident of the Parish of Lafourche or Terrebonne and need free gas to fill your generator and vehicle, take advantage of the petrol ration this week. The BayouCommunityFoundation will work with the Lafourche Parish and Terrebonne Parish governments to enable the distribution of gasoline. Gasoline rations are currently scheduled as follows until fuel is exhausted: • Golden Meadow: Sunday and Monday from 8am – GeauxPass Customer Service Center, 1821 South Alex Plaisance Blvd. (LAHwy. 3235) • Houma: Tuesday from 9am – Grand Caillou Middle School, 2161 Grand Caillou Road • Montegut Gut: From 9am Wednesday – Montegut Middle School, 138 Dolphin Street ** Related video above: Day 7 update: A week after Hurricane Aida landed, many parish still trying to recover * * Residents are limited to 20 gallons per vehicle.
