The old statue of Lincoln was demolished on Monday and carried away to give way to a new one.
“Hundreds of people wanted to see Abraham Lincoln standing again on that hill at the crossroads. Some loved Lincoln and they missed his presence on the hill.” Said Anne Elise Morris, President of the Wilkinsburg Historical Society.
