Madison, Wisconsin (AP) — Republican-controlled lawyer in the Wisconsin State Capitol says it plans to vote for a constituency change plan in November.
Republican leaders do not say exactly when they plan to vote on the new map of the state’s 132 legislative districts and eight parliamentary districts.
Kevin St. John Letter, a lawyer in the state legislature, wrote in a letter to the state high court on Wednesday that the map would be voted in November.
The legislature is currently scheduled to act by November 11, but he says additional time may be added later this fall or winter to consider constituency changes.
