Woman pleads guilty to soliciting Lansing inmate’s murder – Wichita, Kansas

Levenworth, Kansas (AP) — A 44-year-old Kansas woman pleaded guilty to a murder solicitation after helping plan to kill a prisoner at a Lansing correctional facility.

At a plea hearing on Friday, Lenny Johnson Fritz admitted that he had sent a message to prisoner Andrew Hogue ordering the death of another prisoner. The subject prisoner was attacked in April 2019 but survived.

Johnson Fritz’s husband, Frederick Fritz, has also been charged with soliciting murder. The prosecutor said he had sent his wife a letter requesting the death of a Lansing prisoner.

Preliminary hearing witnesses said Frederick Fritz was the leader of Aryan Brotherhood in Kansas. Hogue has been charged with attempted murder.
