Woodland (CBS13) — A Woodland man has been arrested on suspicion of breaking into a bank and entering a vault early Friday morning.
Shortly before 3 am, Bank of America guards called on him to report watching a live surveillance video of a suspect who broke into a bank on Main Street, according to Woodland police. The suspect also seems to have been trying to open the safe.
Police arrived at the scene and searched the bank, but the suspect had already left.
However, the guards noticed a man who matched the guard’s description across the street. The man was stopped and police officers tied him to the invasion.
The suspect was identified as 39-year-old Woodland-based Michael Mori. There was also a warrant that he was put in Yolo County Jail for robbery and arrested by Heracles.
