Tucson, Arizona (KGUN) — A program heading to Washington, DC to help disabled veterans join the workforce

A fellow injured warrior, Derek Duva, works in the office of Parliamentarian Tom O’Halloran.

Duva works with veteran and active members to facilitate between them and federal, state and local agencies. He said a veteran helped him, and now he wants to give back.

“When I’m in the army, I know that you don’t have that many options and you really get intimate with the people around you, so it can be a little hard to get stripped of it, and suddenly you Is like yourself, but in reality there are a lot of people who can help, they are there to promote it, and I got help a lot of such people increase.”

Duva served in the Army for eight years and won a seat at the Defense Language Institute.

He also conducted a survey of the Arizona Senate Expenditure Committee and ASU.
