South Fayette, PA (KDKA) – 103 years old is not every day. One South Fight World War II veteran says that when you live a good life, good things always come.
Using bagpipes and balloons, Guthrie “Ghetto” Taboni completes his 103rd trip around the Sun. But he is not surprised.

“I live a clean life. I don’t drink — well, water. They make me,” he says.
And his signature red punch — of course non-alcoholic.

The ghetto is happy to spend his birthday and golden age in the Chartie Bend Retirement Community.
“It’s an honor. It’s an honor. How many? They don’t,” he says.
This year was a tough year for so many people, especially the ghetto.
“I had a happy marriage. My wife died just half a year ago. And I love her and think of the best of my life,” he says.
Viola, a 53-year-old wife, is celebrating this milestone spiritually.
“I loved her. I always will. And I will never remarry. My age course, who wants me?” He says.
Obviously, so many people think the ghetto is great. They lined up in the hall for him and brought cakes, gifts, and a carved pocket watch. It’s a fuss for those who aren’t too noisy.
“I enjoy my life, and I enjoy it as it is,” he says.
Local politicians also appeared at the ghetto party. Among them, State Senator Camera Bartrotta, who read the official birthday declaration, stopped by on his way to Harrisburg.
“10 years. I want to have another 10 lives, and see what develops in this world,” he says.
