Wynn Las Vegas welcomes Burt Bakman, the legendary pit master of SLAB BBQ in Los Angeles, to a series of culinary events in July this year.
In addition to seducing guests with a delicious, appetizing July 4th feast, Buckman hosts masterclasses for barbecue enthusiasts of all skill levels who want to improve their game.

Backyard barbecue has become synonymous with Independence Day celebrations. In July of this year, Wynn Las Vegas continues its tradition at the resort’s new outdoor event pavilion and lawn-studded culinary event Red, White & Barbecue. Burt Bakman, the legendary pit master of SLAB BBQ in Los Angeles, joins Win’s catering and special event executive chef Kelly Bianchi to create the resort’s first patriotic culinary celebration.
Cooking events include fried pies made from chili con carne or vegetable chili, cheddar cheese and pepperjack cheese, as well as juicy dishes such as sliced brisket, smoked chicken wings, and Buckman’s “Smoker Station” baby back ribs.
