This property is spread across an expansive area of 700 square meters with plenty of empty space. This space is usually used for carrying out exhibitions and displaying models and projects. The planetarium is situate din the heart of the city and thus attracts a large number of visitors on a daily basis.

Yashwantrao Chavhan Planetarium and Science Centre is based on digital technology and thus has a modern and futuristic approach towards its functioning. The very architecture of Yashwantrao Chavhan Planetarium and Science Centre is eye catchy. It is has a spectacular dome and can accommodate 105 seating. In addition to this there also exists an amphitheater in this property adorned with beautiful landscaping.
