Honolulu (KHON2) – As a kid, I wasn’t a fan of yoga practitioners.

When you asked me, I thought they were a lot of posers.

But now that I’m trying it, I changed my mind.

Have you ever considered doing yoga at an art exhibition?

Well, at the beginning of the month, “Beyond Van Gogh” opened here at the Hawaii Convention Center, and since then they have been very popular for adding new things to it.

One of them, weekend yoga.

To find out more about this, we are here with a yoga instructor, Yoga Room Hawaii’s Paula Colletti.

Where did this idea come from by doing yoga at this art exhibition?

“So, about a week ago, the” Beyond Van Gogh “exhibition contacted me and my studio and asked if they were interested in teaching yoga classes in the exhibition,” said the yoga room. Paula Colletti, owner and studio manager, says. Hawaii. “They tried it in several other markets, they said it was a huge success and it was a really great and unique experience, so of course I wanted to participate.”

This is unique in many different ways.

You have an exhibit, the sound it emits, and of course the expression and art it portrays and projects.

What are the benefits of incorporating it and adding it to your yoga experience, yoga class?

“Well, yoga in its own way is a form of art,” says Colletti. “It’s very creative and expressive. Each instructor creates his own sequence for this exhibition. Blending it with Van Gogh’s art is a magical experience no one has ever experienced. I think it will be an experience like that. “

thank you for letting me know.

This was my first time doing yoga and I had to say that it was harder than I expected on a long shot.

But I think of myself as a beginner novice.

That said, is this for beginners or advanced users?

“These classes are open to all levels,” says Colletti. “Even if you’ve never stepped on a yoga mat before, we welcome you to join us. If you’ve been practicing every day for 10 years, you’ll still find something great from this experience.”

Now this starts this weekend.

How long will this last?

“We’ll do that next 10 weekends, Saturday and Sunday at 8:30 am,” says Colletti.

Classes begin this weekend, every weekend for the next 10 weeks from August to September.

There are only 50 spots available for each class, so get your tickets before it’s too late.

Classes run from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.

Unfortunately, no one can stay, so you can’t get stuck after a yoga class.
