President Donald Trump has signed an executive order aimed at restoring TikTok services in the US. The order instructs relevant government agencies to “pursue resolutions” that “protect national security” while “saving. [TikTok.]”Through the order, Trump instructed the US Attorney General not to take action within 75 days to enforce the Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act (PAFACA), an act that banned TikTok in the US on Sunday, January 19. “During this time, the Department The judiciary will not act to enforce the Act or impose penalties on any entity for non-compliance with the Act,” the executive order read. “Even after the expiration of the period mentioned above, the Department of Justice will not take any action to enforce the Act.
