‘Bob’s Burgers’, ‘Arrested Development’ actor Jay Johnston charged with involvement in January 6th attack
Washington — Actor Jay Johnston, known for his roles in the TV series Arrested Development and Bob’s Burgers, has been arrested and charged with allegedly participating in the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol.
A federal court in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday unsealed a criminal case against Mr. Johnston after his arrest. He faces four federal charges, including civil sedition, entering or staying in prohibited buildings or grounds.
Daily Beast report In December 2021, Johnston lost the voice role of Jimmy Pesto in Bob’s Burgers after allegations of his participation in the Capitol Riot spread. He has also appeared in Anchorman and The Sarah Silverman Program.
