Las Vegas police raid house in suspected murder of Tupac Shakur
Las Vegas police conducted a raid Monday in connection with the investigation into the murder of superstar rapper Tupac Shakur.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on Monday raided the Henderson home, less than 32 miles from the Las Vegas Strip where Shakur, 25, was shot dead in a car in 1996.
“LVMPD can confirm that a search warrant was executed in Henderson, Nevada on July 17, 2023, as part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur murder investigation,” the Las Vegas Police Department said in a statement. “There are no further comments at this time.”
The Shakur murder investigation has been going on for nearly 30 years.
In 2019, former Los Angeles Police Department detective Greg Kading claimed: CBS News Los Angeles Duane Davis, also known as Kef D, was questioned in connection with the murder of Biggie Smalls and confessed to his involvement in Shakur’s murder, according to reports.
But at the time, Las Vegas police said only that the case was still under investigation.
