Small plane crashes into Washington warehouse, injuring two
Two people suffered life-threatening injuries when a single-engine plane crashed into a storage unit Saturday afternoon in Kent, Washington, authorities said.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. Pacific time, a single-engine Challenger II with two people on board crashed into a warehouse building, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Photos from the scene showed the plane impaled on the roof of the building.
The Puget Sound Area Fire Department reported that two people on board sustained life-threatening injuries. There were no words of injury to those on the ground.
Details and circumstances of the crash were not immediately provided. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate.
Kent is in the Seattle metropolitan area.
