Editorial Standards

Last updated: September 19, 2026

Eminetra explains the business, technology, and policy stories that shape everyday decisions, in plain English. These standards describe how we decide what to publish, how we source it, and how we handle mistakes.

1. What we publish

We focus on explainers and analysis rather than breaking-news churn:

  • Business Explainers: how companies, industries, and economic forces work
  • Global Markets: what moves markets and why it matters
  • Tech & AI: the technology, chips, and infrastructure decisions reshaping business
  • Policy Watch: what laws, regulations, and government decisions mean in practice
  • Personal Finance: how economic developments affect household decisions
  • Opinion & Analysis: clearly labeled arguments and viewpoints

In every piece we aim to answer three questions: what happened, why it matters, and what comes next.

2. Accuracy and sourcing

  • Primary sources first. Where possible, we rely on original material: company filings and earnings calls, government and regulatory documents, court records, official statistics, and published research.
  • Every significant claim is traceable. Figures, statistics, and factual claims should link to or name their source. If we cannot identify where a number came from, we do not publish it.
  • Dates on data. We state when a figure was reported or measured, since numbers go stale quickly.
  • Facts vs. estimates. We distinguish confirmed facts from estimates, forecasts, and claims by interested parties, and we say who is making a claim.
  • Attribution. We credit the sources and research we build on. We do not copy text from other publications. Quotations are short, accurate, and attributed.
  • Verification. We double-check numbers, names, titles, and units before publication. Every article is reviewed by a second editor before it is published.

3. Original analysis, not recycled copy

Eminetra’s work is explanation and synthesis: we gather public information, check it, and organize it so it is easier to understand. When we have not independently reported something ourselves, we say where the information comes from rather than implying firsthand reporting.

4. Fairness and balance

  • We present the strongest versions of competing arguments, not caricatures.
  • When a topic is contested, we say so and explain what each side’s evidence is.
  • We separate what the evidence shows from what we think it implies.
  • We aim to represent subjects and companies accurately, and we correct errors promptly.

5. Opinion is labeled

Articles in Opinion & Analysis present a viewpoint and are labeled as opinion. Explainer articles aim to be neutral in framing. Opinion pieces are held to the same factual standards as everything else we publish.

6. Financial, health, and legal topics

Much of what we cover touches money, health coverage, and regulation. Our content is for general information and education only. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, or medical advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset or to take or avoid any action. For decisions about your own situation, consult a qualified professional.

7. Use of AI and automated tools

Option A: We use AI tools.
We may use AI tools to assist with research, summarization, outlining, or editing. AI does not replace editorial responsibility. Everything we publish is reviewed by a human editor, who checks facts and figures against original sources before publication. We do not publish AI-generated images that depict real events or real people as if they were photographs.

8. Authors and bylines

Articles carry a byline identifying who is responsible for them. Where an article is credited to the “Eminetra Editorial Team,” it reflects the collective work of our editorial staff and is reviewed by an editor before publication.

9. Independence and conflicts of interest

  • Advertising and editorial are separate. Advertisers and sponsors do not influence what we cover or what we say about it.
  • Sponsored and affiliate content is labeled. If we publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, we will disclose it clearly.
  • Conflicts of interest. Contributors must disclose financial interests in companies or assets they write about. Where a relevant interest exists, we will disclose it in the article or assign the piece to someone else.
  • No payment for coverage. We do not accept payment, gifts, or favors in exchange for coverage or for changing what we have written.

10. Images, charts, and graphics

We use images and graphics that we created, licensed, or have permission to use, or that are available under a license permitting reuse. Images are credited where required. Illustrations and stock imagery are not presented as documentary photographs of specific events.

11. Updating articles

Stories evolve, so we may update articles after publication. Significant updates are noted with a date. Substantive errors are handled under our Corrections Policy.

12. Feedback, tips, and corrections

To report an error, send a tip, or raise a concern about our coverage, contact us at  eminetra.com@gmail.com or through our Contact Us page.

13. Changes to these standards

We may update these standards as our practices evolve. The “last updated” date at the top shows when they were last revised.
